Brearley is accepting applications for kindergarten for the 2027-2028 school year. We do not anticipate any openings in Classes I through IV, however, prospective families can express their interest in a Class I, II, III, or IV seat by completing this inquiry form. If a space materializes, the Admission Office will contact you.
Do note that all of our admission events are specifically for prospective families exploring kindergarten for the 2027-2028 school year.

Admission Process
1. Application and Fee
The application fee is $85. Families applying for financial assistance should use code FA2026 when prompted to waive the application fee.
2. Parent/Guardian Visit, Tour and Interview
After your application has been submitted, you may schedule your parent tour and interview; the interview immediately follows the tour. Please allow 90 minutes for the entire visit.
3. Applicant Visit
We look forward to meeting your daughter! Along with a small group of applicants, she will enjoy familiar school activities during her 45 minute school visit. The Office of Admission will schedule the date and time of your daughter's visit on a rolling basis as applications are processed. You will be given approximately two weeks notice. A parent is not required to attend; a caregiver or family member may bring the applicant to her visit as there is no parent programming.
4. Permission to Release Records
Starting on October 15, 2026, you will have access to the Permission to Release Confidential School Report Form, located in your Ravenna portal, which you will need to submit to your daughter's current school. Her current school will send us a confidential school report using either the Brearley Kindergarten Confidential School Report Form or the ISAAGNY Confidential School Report Form; both forms are accepted.
