Ahmed Najm
Director of Faculty and Program Development
Ahmed Najm joined the Brearley School in 2015 as a math teacher. He has since served as a Middle and Upper School advisor, Class IX Grade Head, affinity advisor, and Director of Faculty and Program Development. Ahmed started his classroom career with Teach for America in Atlanta, GA at the Coretta Scott King Young Women's Leadership Academy. He holds degrees from Boston University, Harvard University, and a Doctorate in Education from Vanderbilt University, where he researched teacher learning, school governance, and math education. Ahmed will assume the role of Dean of Faculty in the fall.Â
