Cerys MacLelland

Cerys MacLelland has served as the Assistant Director of Athletics at the Brearley School for two years. She oversees roster management, sports registration, inventory control and Brearley Field House rentals and actively contributes to the organization of athletic events. 

Ms. MacLelland completed her bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in management from Montclair State University in 2020. During that time, she was a student-athlete on the women’s basketball team.

Building on her undergraduate studies, Ms. MacLelland continued her educational pursuit and obtained a master's degree in athletic administration in 2022. During her graduate studies, she worked as a graduate assistant in the Exercise Science and Physical Education Department, gaining hands-on administrative experience. 

While in graduate school, Ms. MacLelland worked in the Monmouth University Athletics Marketing Department dealing with in-game promotions and fan experiences and engagement. In the summer of 2021, she was a regional operations and management intern for the American Junior Golf Association. 

Alongside her administrative duties at Brearley, Ms. MacLelland embarks on her second season as a coach for the Upper School Brearley basketball program, further enhancing her engagement with the school's athletic community.
