Director of Athletics

Ms. LaRoche King has over 10 years of athletic administration experience in both independent and public schools. A former head women's soccer coach at Cornell University and Division I athlete, she joined the Brearley community in 2019. Ms. LaRoche King has a strong commitment to providing Brearely athletes a competitive, supportive environment where they can thrive and enjoy a high level of accomplishment and teamwork.

Ms. LaRoche King is well known in the secondary school setting as being a strong community and social services professional who specializes in leadership development and enjoys advising students and running student affinity spaces. She received her BA in African American studies from the University of Maryland, earned her MS in sports administration from Cortland State University and has a certificate in diversity and inclusion from Cornell University.
