Karine Blemur-Chapman

Karine Blemur-Chapman joined the Brearley community in September 2025 as an admission interviewer and became Assistant Director of Admission in July 2026. With 20 years of experience in independent schools, Karine was a member of the Brooklyn Friends School (BFS) community for many years, wearing various hats during her tenure. She was a BFS parent, teacher, board member, and Director of Enrollment, a role that required her to manage the school's admission, retention, and financial aid processes. As a member of Brearley's admission team, she is excited to engage with prospective families who are exploring Brearley with curiosity, clarity, and joy!
