Rahul Tripathi

Rahul Tripathi brings 25+ years of leadership experience in the education sector to his position as CFO and COO. In addition to his role as principal administrative and financial officer at Brearley, he has a leadership role in the financing, design and execution of a $250mm facilities master planning effort. Prior to starting at Brearley in 2008, he was CFO of College Preparatory School in the East Bay and director of finance and planning at Phillips Exeter Academy.  

Mr. Tripathi has BA degrees in social anthropology and economics from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. As an undergraduate he also conducted field studies focused on the conservation of the Asian elephant in South India. He later earned an MA degree in economics from the Claremont Graduate University. He has also pursued executive education opportunities at the Yale School of Management and Columbia Business School.

Either as a board member or volunteer, Mr. Tripathi is involved with a number of nonprofit organizations focused on justice, advocacy, equity and environmental issues. A consummate New Yorker, he loves almost everything the city has to offer. In his free time, he loves to travel and immerse himself in global cultures, arts and cuisines, and he is an avid wildlife photographer.
