Vasavi Devireddy '04

Vasavi Devireddy, M.D. is Director of Evidence Based Practice in the Clinical Transformation and Improvement department at Northwell Health, as well as Assistant Professor of Medicine for the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine and Attending Hospitalist practicing at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in International Comparative Studies and Global Health from Duke University and an M.D. from The Medical School for International Health in collaboration with Columbia University Medical Center, Dr. Devireddy completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center and the Physician Administrative Fellowship at Northwell Health. In her current role, Dr. Devireddy directs the expansion of evidence-based and best-practice driven clinical standards across Northwell’s integrated health system to drive continuous clinical improvement and innovation and to promote equitable, patient-centered healthcare. Her professional interests include health design, design thinking, systems thinking, and change management.
